Time to reinvest another dividend. This time I am able to buy a few more stocks.
I have been thinking about reinvesting the dividend on the actual ex-date and not the payout date. I have tried to search online if there is any difference in performance if you invest on ex-date instead of payout date, but I have not found any articles about it. It would be nice to know if there was a big difference. It makes you wonder how funds reinvest their dividends, if they buy the stock on ex-date or if they wait until they actually receive their money. If you know of some research about this topic please let me know in the comments below.
Anyway back to the reinvesting.
Stocks owned: 240
Dividend per stock: SEK 3.09
Dividend received: SEK 741.60
Reinvested number of stocks: 12 (SEK 61.86 * 12 = SEK 742.32)
Stocks owned after reinvesting: 252
Effect on yearly dividend: + SEK 74.73
