The reports for a lot of companies have come in already and it's a big mix, unfortunately we are seeing a lot of them cutting their dividends. So far I've had four companies cut theirs. Luckily none of them are too big so the hit isn't as bad as 2020. And also some companies have raised their dividends and also pay out bonus dividends to offset the cuts. So it's a very odd mix. I do think that it's the consumer businesses that are getting hit first, also builders. But next in line will probably be B2B companies as we see a slowdown overall.
The dividends received in January are very skewed due to the bonus dividend from VW, I doubt I will see this level of payout for a couple of years at least, unless I invest heavily into companies paying dividends in January, anyone have any good suggestions?
I received a total of SEK 6,720.06 in dividends in January. An increase of 511% compared to last year.
