Dividend income June 2023

Another one as DJ Khaled would say. Another record month. I got a big boost from the dividend from Yara and I also got quite a big return of capital I did not know about from Thomson Reuters.

Portfolio keeps on grinding higher and I've started to buy into a new company. I will post about it once I have managed to buy the position that I want, the stock is very illiquid so it might take some time before the price comes down to where I want it again.

The SEK keeps weakening which is good for my portfolio and US dividends, but I would really like to buy more US stocks. Also once the SEK starts to strengthen again (if that ever happens) my portfolio will be hit. To be honest I've had the idea that it doesn't really matter in the long run, it will go up and down so probably better to just keep buying.

Another interesting thing is that I've almost already reached the amount of dividends received for whole of last year, and there's still six months left of the year. Unfortunately the second half of the year is not that great in dividend payouts, especially the two upcoming months. I do believe I will be able to reach my goal of SEK 100k this year in dividends.

I received a total of SEK 15,610.12 in dividends in June. An increase of 76.9% compared to last year.
