Reinvesting Angler Gaming dividend (2)

I was not sure if I was going to reinvest the dividend in Angler Gaming. It's been my worst buy ever, down over 80% since I bought it last year. Sometimes you hit mines if you don't check the company completely. However they are still making money so I thought I might as well keep to my strategy. I doubt they will have the same dividend amount next year, it will probably go down a bit. For the effect on yearly dividend I will still use this years dividend rate.

The dividend from Angler Gaming also made me go past last years total dividends received already, and we still got half a year left!

Reinvesting Veteranpoolen dividend (1)

Short time between buying and first reinvestment for Veteranpoolen. It gives me a nice boost to June dividend numbers. I really need to start thinking about July and August paying dividends, those months are so far behind. Also this dividend is one of the largest dividends I've received, I hope I didn't overinvest at the top. My fear is that with central banks tightening making us going into a recession will hit companies like Veteranpoolen hard, so their dividend next year might not be as good as this year.

New buy Veteranpoolen

 

Bought shares in Veteranpoolen, a company that technically lets other companies hire pensioners from them. In the long run with an aging population I believe the company will grow, also people will tend to live longer as well. 

Short run might not have been optimal buying time. The stock price is around ATH. And with a recession around the corner the companies in the labour hiring industry will be some of the ones that will be hit hardest. Just look at Veteranpoolen during the pandemic, it was trading at SEK 11. With their dividend payout today that would almost be a 30% yield.

A part of the buy was due to their high dividend payout, 6%. They also aren't a very big company, just around 1bln SEK market cap. It was either buy Veteranpoolen and get the dividend payout or Boliden and I chose Veteranpoolen because of the dividend. I do think that mining companies will be a good bet going forward, almost like oil companies were two years ago. Inflation will drive commodity prices higher and ESG has made it so that no one has invested in more mining capacity.

Reinvesting SBB dividend (3)

Reinvesting dividend from SBB. It's not looking too good for SBB. Their debt burden is quite worrying. Now I don't think they are cooking their books but I do think that they might not be showing their true situation fully. Time will tell if it was good to reinvest the dividend or not.

Dividend income May 2022

I keep on breaking records, this month was the highest payout ever for me. Middle of May the portfolio wasn't looking too good but it recovered a lot in the second half luckily. I also broke the record for number of dividends received, 28.

The coming months are not the greatest as far as dividend payouts go for me. June is ok, but July and August need some work. 

On a side not I just broke the SEK 250k total lifetime dividends received mark with dividends in the start of June.

I received a total of SEK 18,085.30 in dividends in May. An increase of 56,7%. (I will just copy paste the dividends from my spreadsheet going forward, takes too much time to write them out when they are this many).

Reinvesting Sintercast dividend (5)

The dividend season is coming to an end for this year, although many companies now pay dividends twice a year. There aren't that many dividends left to reinvest this part of the year so I will have to wait for fall again.
